K-lite 94.7fm is owned and operated by B&G Broadcasting Inc. of Paintsville, Kentucky which is owned by Alan Burton a life long resident of East Kentucky and a licensed broadcaster since 1966.
In this day of buy outs and mergers we remain locally owned and operated, and we are proud of that fact. Our studios incorporate the latest technology in broadcasting. We installed an all digital broadcast setup in 1993 with first generation digital equipment. We scrapped the old system in favor of an all new 32 bit system in February of 1999.   Now our commercials are produced in a 64 track all digital studio which makes the commercials we produce jump right off the radio dial. Our main control room is also totally digital and our announcers work with the latest broadcast equipment available. The quality of our on air signal is evident, all you need to do is listen and compare. We strive to make our station the best it can be for our listeners and for our advertisers. Furthermore, we are proud to be a Johnson County original, locally owned and operated.
