The Kentucky Wildcats football team defeated Penn State in the VRBO Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida (27-24) to pick up their 10th win of the season for the first time since 1977. UK Jr. RB Benny Snell had 26 carries for 144 yards and two touchdowns and passed Sonny Collins'(1972-75) to become UK’s all-time career rushing leader at 3,835 yards. With the victory, Kentucky finishes the 2018 season 10-3 overall. It is just the third time in school history the Wildcats have won 10 games in a season (1977, 1950). The final victory gives the current senior class (2015-18) the most wins (29) in their career since the class from 2006-2009 won 30 total games. Kentucky now has nine bowl game wins and their bowl record now sits at 9-9 overall.
